Tattoo styles we do

Western & filigree

Longhorn skulls, horseshoes, daisies, barbed wire and filigree scrollwork, Texas through and through. Western pieces work on their own or build into a full western sleeve over a few sessions.

Black & grey and realism

Smooth shading for portraits, skulls, florals, animals and mythology, from a single forearm piece to a full Norse mythology sleeve. Black and grey ages well and suits detailed, realistic work.

Bold color

Saturated color that stays bright for years: roses, butterflies, animals, pet portraits and full color sleeves.

American traditional, neo-traditional & Japanese

Bold lines and solid color in the classic American style, neo-traditional pieces with more depth and detail, and Japanese-inspired work that can grow into larger sleeves and back pieces.

Fine line, script & small tattoos

Delicate linework, names, dates, lettering and small meaningful pieces. A first tattoo is a good fit for a walk-in, or text us the idea and we'll set a time.

Cover-ups, reworks & touch-ups

Bring the old tattoo to a free consultation. The artist looks at its size, darkness and placement and designs a new piece that works with it, or reworks and refreshes the original. Very dark or heavily saturated tattoos sometimes need a larger design to hide completely, and the artist will tell you honestly what's possible.

How getting a tattoo works

  1. Send your idea. Call, text your idea and reference photos to (817) 559-8430, or stop by for a free consultation.
  2. Design and quote. Your artist draws a custom design and gives you a quote before anything starts.
  3. Tattoo day. Bring your photo ID, eat a real meal beforehand, and wear clothing that gives easy access to the placement.
  4. Aftercare. Your artist wraps the tattoo and walks you through how to heal it.

How much does a tattoo cost?

Price depends on size, detail, placement and time. Small pieces start at a shop minimum, and larger work is quoted per piece or by the hour during your free consultation. You always get a quote before we start. Full sleeves are usually done over several sessions, so the time and cost are spread out.

Tattoo aftercare

Leave the wrap on for the time your artist recommends, wash gently with unscented soap and lukewarm water, pat dry, and apply a thin layer of unscented aftercare lotion. Avoid soaking, pools, lakes and direct sun for at least two weeks, and let any flaking come off on its own instead of picking it. Call or text the shop if you have questions while it heals.

Tattoo Questions

How old do you have to be to get a tattoo in Texas?

Texas law requires you to be 18 with a valid government-issued photo ID to get a tattoo on your own consent. Bring your ID to every appointment.

Can I send my tattoo idea by text?

Yes. Text your idea, the size and placement you have in mind, and any reference photos to (817) 559-8430. The artist will follow up to talk through the design and set up a free consultation.

Do you take walk-ins for tattoos?

Yes, whenever an artist is free. Walk-ins work best for small tattoos and pieces from the flash wall. Larger custom work is done by appointment after a free consultation.

How long does a full sleeve tattoo take?

A full sleeve is usually done over several sessions spread across weeks or months, depending on the size, the amount of detail and how your skin heals between sessions. Your artist will plan the sessions with you at the consultation.

Can you cover up an old tattoo?

Yes. Bring the old tattoo to a free consultation. The artist looks at its size, darkness and placement and designs a new piece that works with it. Very dark or heavily saturated tattoos sometimes need a larger design to hide completely, and the artist will tell you honestly what is possible.

What should I bring to my tattoo appointment?

Bring a valid photo ID and your reference photos, eat a real meal beforehand, and wear clothing that gives easy access to the placement.
